We experience quite at lot of catalyst in the riser bottom after shutdown. What can be done to avoid this catalyst slumping during the course of shutdown?

Residual catalyst is normally transferred to Rx using velocity steam. It is then transferred to Regen or drained. If the Regen slide valve is worn and leaking, the cat transfer from riser may require a repeat.
