In my experience DEA was recommended as a better absorber of H2S. MDEA repalced DEA for its COS absorption credits . Both Amines are capable of loosening the piping scales (corrosion compounds) if they are used with higher concentration levels and so the recommended concetration is limited to the range of 20 - 25%.

The background for the question is not quite clear.
For gas treating this should be compared on a molar basis.
45% MDEA has more capacity than 20% DEA, but the molecular wait reduces the difference.
At the same time you can normally use DEA up to 30 or 35%.
There are also other parameters.
The question therefore needs to be better defined.
